The Yankee slugger called it quits about a week ago after la pareja came back from a trip to Europe, a source said. The main reason for their split?  Parece que Kate’s a bonafide party girl! Apparently she fought with A-Rod during the World Series because she wanted to go out and party, and he did not.

The source went on to describe their relationship as “tumultuous,” noting it was full of ups and downs. The split will no doubt be difficult for their children. Alex’s daughters really liked Kate, and Kate’s son Ryder was — according to Access Hollywood — already calling A-Rod “Daddy.”
