HBO has picked up the Latin American rights to EM.TV’s animated series Dogstar, from distributor Comarex. HBO Family Latin America is slated to launch Dogstar in spring 2007.

Produced by EM.TV’s Avg. World Pictures Pty Ltd, Dogstar is set in space and follows the adventures of three kids as they search for a treasure chest filled with dogs. Yes you read that right, a treasure chest filled with dogs, remember the children are our future, and the most valuable thing to them… is dogs.
